By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Apr. 19: Shooting of 'Brahmanda', a series, has begun at Gupteshwor Mahadev in Pokhara since Tuesday.
This series is being produced by Kantipur Film Academy and Topi Studios Pokhara. It will be the largest series ever made in Nepal in accordance with international standards for the OTT platform.
The series will feature well-known actors of Nepal, including Sunil Thapa, Bholaraj Sapkota, Rajan Khatiwada, Sarita Giri, Maotse Gurung, Suraj Bista, Supragya Sharma, Sanjay Dhungana and Arpan Thapa.
The series will be directed by Riyaz Natakkar and its cinematography will be directed by Purushottam Pradhan, popular cinematographer of Nepal.
Purushottam has done the cinematography of more than 60 commercial hits and award winning films including 'Loot', 'Kabaddi', 'Chakka Panja', 'Dasdhunga', 'Uma', 'Nai Nabhannu La'.
The series will have a full length of eight hours and will be produced in eight episodes.
The Academy plans to screen the series in Nepali language from their own platform and also from a big OTT platform in India in Hindi language.
Similarly, some time ago, the Academy produced a series called 'Miss Scarlett' which is now in postproduction process.
