Yubraj Nayaghare presented ‘Sahitya Kalashree’ Award

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Apr. 11: Sahitya Kala Sangam Damak honoured seven artistes and writers amid a function held in Damak on Monday.  Five of them--writers Chudamani Regmi, Yudhvir Rana from Assam, Pratibha Paudel from Ilam and Mukund Prayas from Dhankuta and sculptor Himmat Nemwang from Surunga, Jhapa, were honoured with ‘Bhawani Mishra Award 2079’.

Similarly, ‘Sahitya Kalashree Award 2079’ was conferred on prose writer Yubraj Nayaghare. Sitaram Tajpuriya, a resident Gauradaha in Jhapa and singer of various folk songs, was presented ‘Tulasidevi Neupane Memorial Award’ that carries a  purse of Rs. 35,000.
