Chapagain elected Chair of Martyrs Academy

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Apr. 9: Dharma Sheela Chapagain has been appointed Chairperson of the Martyrs Academy Nepal.

The 13^th general assembly of the Academy formed a new seven member executive committee under chairpersonship of Chapagain.

Hemraj Sharma has been vice-chair of the Academy while Yubaraj Chaulagain has been nominated as the general secretary. Chitra Bahadur Gharti has been treasurer and Gopal Krishna Neupane as the member. Members from Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces are yet to be nominated.

Different martyrs memorial schools have been run in various places of the country under the Academy.

The general assembly decided to emphasise on high and technical education and run the school still more effectively.

Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Center) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has inaugurated the general assembly.
