Koshi government's policy and programmes passed unanimously

Biratnagar, May 26: Today's meeting of Koshi Province Assembly unanimously passed the policies and programmes of Koshi province government for coming fiscal year 2083/84 BS.

Koshi Province Chief Parashu Ram Khapung, on the behalf of Koshi province government, had presented the policies and programmes for coming fiscal year on May 21. 

The policies and programmes was passed unanimously after lawmakers from any opposition party did not express their objection to it when Speaker Ambar Bahadur Bista presented it as the decision. 

 Responding to queries raised by Koshi PA members during the discussion, Chief Minister of the province, Hikmat Kumar Karki shared that the government has wholeheartedly involved itself to maintain good governance and provide quality service. 

He mentioned that PA members constructive advise and suggestions provided during discussion would be adopted, adding the policies and programmes has been brought with great effort. 

Arguing that although words are repeated in the policies and programmes, programmes have not been repeated, Chief Minister Karki underlined that though it is a constitutional right to bring ordinance it should be brought legally.  (RSS)
