Chief Minister points out gaps in fiscal, administrative federalism

Karnali, April 8 : Chief Minister of Karnali Province Government Raj Kumar Sharma has stated that his province was yet to receive fiscal and administrative federalism.     

Inaugurating the first Convention of National Progress Health Workers Organization here Saturday, the Chief Minister said that the fiscal and administrative federalism in the country was not implemented though political federalism was practised.     

Sharma argued that the centralised mentality is imposed on the deployment of officials and in the banks and financial institutions as well.     

Stating that he was leading the Karnali Province Government considering himself as a servant of the folks here, the Chief Minister said that the role of all stakeholders and sectors was equally important to change the status of people through political transformation.     

Likewise, he said that the legal tools in the province will be contextual and need-based. (RSS)
