By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 24: The government has formed a study panel to report on ways to resolve the border dispute between Bajura and Humla districts.
Headed by Sushil Dangol, deputy director general of
the Department of Survey, the committee was formed today through a meeting
chaired by Land Management, Cooperatives and Federal Affairs as well as General
Administration Minister Pratibha Rawal.
The committee comprises of representatives from the office of the Prime Minister, Home Ministry, Law Ministry, Land Management Ministry as well as representatives from the office of the chief ministers of the Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Recently, clash had taken place due to the dispute about the border between the two districts, and some youths have even resorted to transport strike along the Karnali corridor.
