Kathmandu, March 2 : Vice-Chairperson of the CPN (UML) and presidential candidate, Subas Chandra Nembang, has met Chairperson of CPN (Unified Socialist) and former Prime Minister, Madhav Kumar Nepal, today.
Nembang as well as CPN (UML)'s Vice-Chairperson, Bishnu Poudel, Deputy General Secretary Prithvi Subba Gurung, former Foreign Minister, Bimala Rai, were present on the occasion, said Chair Nepal's Personal Secretary Mohan Gautam.
Chair Nepal thanked Nembang for asking for their support in the presidential election.
Similarly, Chair Nepal, Vice-Chair Pramesh Hamal, General-Secretary Dr Beduram Bhusal, Deputy General-Secretary Prakash Jwala and Secretariat Member Ram Chandra Jha from the CPN (Unified Socialist) were present in the meeting.
Presidential candidates—Ram Chandra Poudel and Nembang are busy in meeting asking for votes in their favour. Nepali Congress's Poudel is the common candidate of eight-party alliance while Nembang is the candidate of the CPN (UML).
The CPN (Unified Socialist), however, has already decided to support Poudel. (RSS)
