Prakash’s premiere held in Jumla

Jumla, Aug 23 : Premiere show of Prakash has been held at Dillichaur in Jumla.

The film was premiered at Rinmoksha Secondary School in Tirkhu village, where the film was shot, in the presence of the local villagers Sunday night. The movie will be screened on August 26 in local theatres across the country. 

The 2-hour-long film was shot for over 45 days in Tirkhu village of Jumla in March and April this year, so it was premiered in the same locality.

Pradeep Khadka, the lead actor of Prakash, and story writer Bikas Subedi reached Tirkhu village for the premiere. The organizers have named the event as the world premiere show.

The maximum use of Khasa Bhasha (Nepali), local dress, and culture in Jumla has been highlighted in the movie. 

The politicization of academic institutions, the hardships faced by the common people for employment, and misuse of money allotted for martyrs’ families are shown in the movie. 

Almost 25 million rupees have been invested in the production of the film.

According to story writer Subedi, the film will be screened simultaneously in the countries like India, America, Japan, and Australia. 

Actor Pradeep Khadka informed that Karnali, which has been neglected by the state in terms of education, health, employment, and development, and he had tried to bring Jumla, which has potential, into the mainstream of the state through the screen.

Directed by Dinesh Raut, the film stars Pradeep Khadka, Diya Maskey, Renu Yogi, and Prakash Ghimire. 

Local actors Gobind Sunar, Dhan Raj Sunar, Purna Prasad Chaulagain, Rajkali Mahat, and others of Jumla have also acted in the movie.
