By A Staff Reporter, Kathmandu, June 8: The grand finale of the World of Dance Nepal concluded in the capital. The competition came to an end with the announcement of winners across four divisions, in the presence of celebrated Indian choreographer Terence Lewis.
Outstanding talents selected through auditions held in five cities across Nepal, as well as participants from India, performed in the finale.
Ridhi Sarkar secured first place in the Junior Division, while Pop In Smiley became second and Dipesh and Rishi claimed third place.
Likewise, in the Junior Team Division, Creators Crew won the title, with NDA Junior and Purwanchal Dance Studio becoming second and third, respectively. In the Upper Division, Sajan Pakhrin secured first place, Sajan Gurung came second, and Stars Steppers Crew was declared third.
The Upper Team Division title was won by Team NT, while Innate Souls and S Square Family secured second and third positions respectively.
Winners of each division received a cash prize of Rs. 100,000 along with a special trophy plated with 24-carat gold.
The greatest attraction of the competition is the opportunity for winners to represent Nepal on the global stage.
According to Artistic Director JD Tamu, all finalist performers from the Upper and Junior Team Divisions will earn the chance to represent Nepal at international platforms. These Nepali teams will participate in the World Final in the United States, the Global Dance Representative event in Thailand, and the World Supremacy Battleground in Hong Kong.
The judging panel featured successful Bollywood choreographer and celebrity grand jury member Terence Lewis, alongside Kiran Thapa of Nepal’s legendary Wild Ripperz Crew and Artistic
Director JD Tamu.
