Four clubs organise installation ceremony

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Aug. 21: Four clubs sponsored by Rotary Club of Matribhumi Baluwatar, Rotaract Club of Matribhumi Baluwatar IOM, Rotaract Club of Matribhumi Baluwatar, Interact Club of Matribhumi Baluwatar and Interact Club of Golden Gate International College have jointly organised their Installation programme for the Rotary Year 2022-23. 

The presidents for Rotary Year 2021-22 of all four clubs presented their year review and discussed various events and activities that the clubs were engaged in during their tenure. Past members of the Board of Directors were recognised for their contribution to the club.

During the programme, four Interactors of the Interact Club of Golden Gate International College were awarded. Among those Rajesh Karki was awarded the Interactor of the Year, Aarati Thapa as the Most Versatile Interactor of the Year, Babisha Kandel as the Best Team Player and Shaillina Rai was awarded the Most Enthusiastic Interactor of the Year. 

In the joint installation programme, Rotaract Club of Matribhumi Baluwatar IOM President Dr Anupama Pandey handed over the post to Astha Subedi, President for the Rotary year 2022/23, while Bharos Devkota, Charter President of Rotaract Club of Matribhumi Baluwatar, handed over the post to Anish Moktan Tamang, the President for the year 2022/23.

Sanshraya Khanal and Anuj Paudyal, respective presidents of Interact Club of Matribhumi Baluwatar and Interact Club of Golden Gate International College for Rotary Year 2021/22, handed over the office to Sampada Basnet and Shaillina Rai respectively.

The dignitaries of the programme have congratulated all four clubs for their excellent work and exemplary presence in District 3292. Chief Guest, Babu Ram Acharya has promised to give full support to all the four clubs throughout the Rotary year 2022/23.
