Snowfall in Mustang for the seventh time

Mustang, April 8: Mustang has received snowfall for the seventh time this season. Snowfall has been reported in Baragung Mukti Kshetra and Upper Mustang since 11:00 pm today.     

Earlier, Mustang had also received heavy snowfall last Saturday and Monday. The first snowfall occurred in late October and has been receiving snowfall and rain since then.     

Even though the summer season has begun snowfall has not stopped, making it difficult for tourists to visit Muktinath Temple and Upper Mustang.     

Ward Chair of Baragung Mukti Kshetra-1, Pramesh Gurung, said that even during the summer season there is difficulty in the movement of pilgrims due to snowfall.     

The daily life of the locals has been affected as the cold weather has increased due to snowfall in Upper Mustang.(RSS)
