Chinese envoy Zhang calls on Foreign Minister Khanal, discussion on enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, April 8: Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Nepal Zhang Maoming paid a courtesy call on Minister for Foreign Affairs Shisir Khanal at the Ministry.

During the meeting held on Tuesday, the Ambassador conveyed greetings from the Foreign Minister of the People’s Republic China Wang Yi to the Minister on his assumption of office of the Foreign Minister of Nepal, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

During the call on, various matters relating to further strengthening Nepal-China relations and enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation were discussed.

"We had a very good exchange of views on China-Nepal relations and practical cooperation, and agreed to consolidate mutual support, accelerate bilateral cooperation in various areas, and promote China-Nepal relations to new heights," stated Chinese Ambassador Zhang in social media about the meeting.
