COVID: 915 new cases, 301 recoveries

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Aug. 3: Additional 915 persons have been found infected with the novel coronavirus across the country in the last 24 hours.

590 persons tested positive for the virus in the PCR test of 3,091 persons while 325 tested positive for the virus in the antigen test of 2,911 persons, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

The positivity rate in the last hours was 15.24 per cent.

Of the infected, 422 are from the Kathmandu Valley-337 from Kathmandu, 32 from Bhaktapur and 53 from Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, 301 got over the virus infection.

With the new cases, the active caseload of COVID-19 has reached 5,433 in the country.

No death related to COVID-19 was reported in the last 24 hours.
