National cricket coach Pubudu Dassanayake resigns

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, July 20: Head coach of the national cricket team of Nepal Pubudu Dassanayake resigned from his post on Wednesday. 

On Wednesday Dassanayake declared his resignation by organising a press conference. His tenure was renewed for two years last year December. 

Pubudu was criticized after the poor performance of the Nepali cricket team in the last training session. But in the press conference, he said that he resigned citing personal reasons. He has informed that he has already submitted his resignation to Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) through email a week ago.
