By TRN Online, Kathmandu, July 19: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) brought three fire brigades from Indonesia on Tuesday.
The spokesperson at KMC Navin Manandhar has informed that the latest technology-fitted three fire brigades have been bought from Indonesia.
He said that fire brigades have the capacity to control fires up to the 10th-storey of buildings.
According to him, the fire brigades were made by Indonesian PT Jack company and the total cost was Rs 24 million.
Newly brought fire brigades will be placed at Balaju, Dharmapath Newroad and Buddha's Ramhiti of Kathmandu.
Fire brigades will come into operation about 15 days later after the arrival of Indonesian technicians to operate fire brigades.
