Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has unveiled a bust of his son
Prakash Dahal.
Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) built the bust
at International Memorial Park located at Kakani Rural Municipality-6 in
Nuwakot district.
Also the former Prime Minister, Prachanda thanked
the NMA for feeling the need to build the bust without any request from any
side.
The NMA built the bust of Prakash Dahal in memory
of his scaling Mt. Everest.
"This
will inspire those who play roles in social, economic and political changes in
the country. We did not demand building the bust. I believe the NMA felt
the need and built the bust," said the Maoist Center Chairman.
Refereeing the Lumbini-Sagarmatha Trekking, he said that the Maoists who came through
the people's war have proved that they can make history and keep new records.
