Kathmandu, July 1 : National flag carrier, Nepal
Airlines (Nepal Airlines Corporation) has turned 65.
NAC was established in 1 July 1958 following
the enactment of the Nepal Airlines Corporation Act. 2019 BS. The main objective
was to provide air transport service at home and abroad.
Commencing its service from Douglas DC and
Dakota with a 25-seat capacity, it is now providing service through wide-body A
330-200.
Presently, NAC has been operating
international flights to and from New Delhi, Bangalore, and Mumbai (India), Hong
Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, Narita (Japan), Doha (Qatar), Dubai (United Arab
Emirates), and Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).
Likewise, it has been providing domestic
flight services through airports in remote zones.
NAC Spokesperson Archana Khadka shared that the NAC
is organizing a general program this time to mark its establishment day. (RSS)
