The tree plantation was achieved during the“One Student, One Plant Campaign” to mark World Environment Day 2022 on June 5.

Our “One Student, One Plant campaign” is the road to that action,” the press release quoted Surya Karki, UWS Nepal Co-founder and Country Director, as saying.

A total of 6,000 plants were planted in the UWS Schools by the 6,000 students studying in the 51 UWS Schools in Sankhuwasabha, Gulmi, and Taplejung districts.
