Counting of votes of Kathmandu Metropolitan City begins
May 14: The counting of votes in Kathmandu Metropolitan City has started.
From the ruling coalition, there has been fierce competition between Sirjana Singh of the Nepali Congress and Keshav Sthapit of the CPN (UML) for the post of the metropolitan mayor.
Similarly, Balen Shah, an independent candidate is also vying for the top post.
