New voters ID being distributed

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 11: New voter identity card is being distributed in the forefront of the ward located Sankata temple premises of Kathmandu.

Election Commission (EC) has been disturbing the new voter ID on Wednesday and Thursday.

EC is distributing new voter's ID cards to those newly registered on the voters' list as well as to those who lost their previous voter ID cards and have submitted the application.

New voter ID card is being distributed from the respective election stations to their residents.

 Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya, Chief Election Commissioner, in the press release on Tuesday, said that provision has been made for those who have names on the voters' list but do not have a voter ID card, to vote by showing their citizenship as well.
