Motorcyclist dies in accident in Ilam

By Our Correspondent, Pashupatinagar, May 11: A motorcyclist died after being hit by a truck at Golakharka, Ilam Municipality-9, along the Mechi Highway, Wednesday morning.

Ganga Bahadur Thapa, information officer at the Ilam district police office, said that the motorcyclist died on the spot as the motorcycle and the truck collided.

The police are searching for the driver of the truck who fled after the accident.

Both the truck (Me 1 pa 6544) and the motorcycle (Na 4 Kha 5669) were heading to Ilam from Jhapa.
