Kedar Nepal, chief of Muglin-Nagdhunga Road Project office, west section, informed that a huge landslide occurred at about 12 this afternoon, blocking the road. As the landslide is huge, it is difficult to estimate time to clear it and resume traffic.
There were 773 prisoners in the jail when it was broken during the Gen Z protest on September 9 evening. All the inmates had fled the cell leaving the jail empty. Some of the inmates were arrested from Kathmandu and surrounding district while most of the prisoners returned on their own, according to jailer Rajendra Sharma.
