Finance Minister Khanal assumes charge of MoFAGA

Kathmandu, Sept 23: Finance Minister Rameshwor Prasad Khanal has assumed his office at the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration today.     

As per the division of portfolio of the Council of Ministers on Monday, he has also been entrusted with the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration. While assuming office, Minister Khanal approved the proposal to give in-principle consent to the file related to the organizational structure of the ministry and its subordinate bodies to the Council of Ministers meeting, shared the Ministry's spokesperson Kali Prasad Parajuli.     

On the occasion, Minister Khanal urged employees to focus on service delivery and emphasized that corruption reduction is a primary demand of Gen-Z and they should work accordingly. Minister Khanal expressed his commitment to work for the self-respect of the employees and clarified that employees who commit corruption will face action according to the law.(RSS)
