Two fugitives arrested
CIB Joint Spokesperson, Deputy Superintendent of Police Dharmaraj Bhandari shared that both the fugitives escaped during the Gen-Z' protests and were arrested by a team of the bureau today from Maharajgunj, Kathmandu. They have been handed over to the respective prisons.
Pressure increasing on international flights via TIA
The number of air passengers traveling from Kathmandu to various destinations during Dashain is significant. According to TIA spokesperson Rinji Sherpa, the number of air travelers coming to Nepal from abroad is currently increasing. Some foreign airlines have added flights as well.

Six major travel routes remain disrupted across country
Six major roadways across the country have remained completely disrupted at present while 169 are operational one-way, according to the Department of Roads. Floods and landslides have blocked and damaged the roads, the Department confirmed.
Nearly 200,000 people leave Valley in five days
With Dashain aura in the air, more than 189,000 people left the Kathmandu Valley in the last five days. According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, such number of passengers moved outside the Kathmandu Valley in 29,360 public vehicles from September 17 to 21. The vehicles left the federal capital via Thankot, Sanga, Dakshinkali and Balaju check points.
