Yogyakarta (Indonesia), Nov 26: The women's football teams of Nepal and Indonesia are playing the Tri-National International Friendly Match today at the Maguwoharjo Stadium, Indonesia. The game is starting at 7:30 pm local time.
This is the second time Nepal facing Indonesia.
Prior to this, Nepal and Indonesia played the game at Mandalay of Myanmar in the second phase of the AFC Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament. In the first match, Nepal trounced Indonesia 2-1.
Ahead of today's match, Nepali team's head coach Nabin Neupane said Nepali footballers are ready with the hope to win the match. The team Nepal is physically and mentally ready for the win, Neupane told the RSS.
Captain of the Nepali women's football team Sabitri Bhandari (Samba) is not playing this match owing to an injury.
In place of Samba, Nepali footballer Rashmi Kumari Ghising is scheduled to play the game.
Likewise, Anjila Tumbapo Subba will take the charge of captainship in today's match.
Three teams including Nepal, Indonesia and Chinese Taipei are participating in the tournament that is ending on December 2.
