EC briefs PM Karki on Election Code of Conduct
The Officiating Chief Election Commissioner and other commissioners of the Election Commission briefed Prime Minister Sushila Karki about the Election Code of Conduct, which is set to be released soon for the upcoming House of Representatives (HoR) elections.

Bus service to Humla begins, vehicle fare becomes cheap
Dharma Raj Rokaya of Simkot said that bus service has forced the bolero jeep operators to slash fare as the fare in bus is comparatively reasonable. One would have to pay as much as Rs. 10,000 to bolero for travel from Simkot to Nepalgunj, but the bus fare now is only Rs. 5,500, almost half of the bolero.

Over 3,500 election police being recruited in Sunsari
According to the District Police Office, Sunsari, the recruitment process commenced today. A total of 3,578 personnel: 3,149 from the Nepal Police and 429 from the Armed Police Force are to be hired for election purposes, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Chandra Bahadur Khadka.
