The 66th meeting of Investment Board Nepal has approved the draft of the project license for the 669 MW-capacity Lower Arun Hydropower Project and decided to authorize the Chief Executive Officer of IBN to issue the license for the project.

Moderate rainfall is likely to occur in some parts of Terai and hilly regions of Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces, as well as in a few places in the remaining hilly regions, including Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and in one or two places in the Terai region.The division has forecast generally cloudy weather across the country tonight.
