The chariot begins after the idol of Lokeshwar, located in the Machhindra Bah temple in Kel Tole, is taken to the three-branched school in Jamal via Kel Tole, Indrachowk, Bange Mudha, Asan Kamalakshi and placed on a chariot. On the first day of the festival, it is taken from Jamal to Asan, on the second day from Asan to Hanuman Dhoka, and on the third day to Lagan.
