By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 19: The newly constructed building of Kathmandu Institute Of Child Health (KIOCH) Kathmandu Children’s Hospital will be  inaugurated and handed over by Jagadguru Sankaracharya Vidhushekhara Bharati on May 23.

KIOCH shared that a total pledged contribution of Rs. 22 million has already been received towards the procurement of MRI and CT Scan machines for KIOCH Kathmandu Children’s Hospital through donors.

Under the leadership of Min Bahadur Gurung, Chairman of the Bhat-Bhateni Group, more than NPR 71 Crores has already been contributed towards the construction of the West Block Building of KIOCH Kathmandu Children’s Hospital, said Ayush Bhattarai, business development associate at Bhat Bhateni Holding Company.

However, the hospital still remains incomplete without the highly essential MRI and CT Scan machines, estimated to cost approximately Rs. 150 million, which are crucial for providing quality diagnostic and treatment services to children.

The names of all contributors and their pledged contribution amounts towards the MRI and CT Scan initiative will also be publicly announced in the gracious presence of Jagadguru Sankaracharya, said Bhattarai.

The commitment received so far of Rs. 22.4 million is a truly encouraging beginning. We now earnestly invite all our business associates, partners, and well-wishers to come forward and join this noble cause, said Bhattarai.
