Kathmandu, April 29: Oman has posted a 306-run victory target before Nepal in today's match held under ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League-2.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss in Kirtipur-based TU Ground, Oman scored 305 runs in the allotted 50 overs at the loss of eight wickets.
Oman's Captain Jatinder Singh made 130 runs in 96 balls while Jiten Ramandeep gathered 43 runs and Aryan Bisht collected 35 runs.
Similarly, Hammad Mirza and Ashish Odedara made 30 runs and 23 runs respectively while Vinayak Shukla gathered 23 runs and Wasim Ali scored 12 runs (not out).
Towards bowling, Nepal's Sompal Kami took four wickets while Sandeep Lamichhane and Dipendra Singh Airee took two wickets each.
This is the second match of Nepal under the one-day series held among Nepal, UAE and Oman. Earlier, Nepal had defeated UAE in the first match. (RSS)
