RG in course to redefine hospitality venues

blog

By A Staff Reporter, Kathmandu, Apr. 11: RG Creations has brought a visible shift in architectural design in the buildings and structures in Nepal's hospitality and event management sector.

It has created innovations in designs that move beyond conventional banquet and entertainment spaces. "We have transformed the party palaces, restaurants and banquet venues from the uniform layouts and rather monotonous design to integrated architectural planning, impactful interior detailing and functional layouts," the company said in a statement on Saturday.

According to it, RG has been among the firms contributing to this transition by focusing on spaces that combine utility with experience-oriented design.

The company’s portfolio includes a wide range of banquet and event venues such as Harsha Batika, Utsav Kunj, Mandala Moments, Rambagh Mahal, Taj Palace, Sangam Batika, Panas, Majestic Grand, Taj Reception, Piccolo Durbar, Imperial KL Tower and Imperial Bhaktapur.

These venues are designed to accommodate large gatherings while maintaining spatial organisation and operational efficiency, said Ram Giri, Executive Chairman of the company.

Likewise, in the nightlife and entertainment sector, the company has worked on projects including Victory Club, Faces Club, and Rocker’s Magic and Deja Vu Club. These venues incorporate lighting systems, spatial layouts and interior elements aimed at aligning with evolving urban entertainment preferences.

"We have introduced international-style ambiance into local entertainment spaces. These venues emphasize lighting, layout, and modern aesthetics to create distinctive and immersive experiences for visitors," said Giri.

The firm has also contributed to the food and beverage segment through designs for outlets such as Station Pub, Full Moon, Durbar Lounge and Swoorna Kara. These projects focus on balancing visual elements with circulation and seating arrangements to improve customer movement and usability.

In the hotel sector, projects like Royal Empire Boutique Hotel and Nepal Tara indicate the company’s involvement in accommodation infrastructure, adapting similar design principles across different categories of hospitality.

Giri said the company prioritises designing spaces that align with client requirements while maintaining technical and aesthetic considerations. Our goal is not just to build structures, but to shape experiences that people remember, he stated.

"We have a team of skilled engineers and consultants who design spaces tailored to our clients’ tastes, reflecting a modern and luxurious aesthetic,” Giri informed while noting that the demand for structured, experience-focused venues is increasing, particularly in urban centres.
