NC's CWC meeting begins, party president absent

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, March 20: A meeting of the central working committee (CWC)of the Nepali Congress has begun today.

The meeting is being held at the party’s central office, BP Smriti Bhawan, in Sanepa, Lalitpur.

According to Acting Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Dulal, the meeting will discuss several key issues, including the resignation tendered by party president Gagan Kumar Thapa, the schedule of the upcoming general convention, review of the recently held elections, and the party’s future strategy.

However, President Thapa remained absent from today’s meeting.

The meeting is currently being chaired by Vice-President Bishwa Prakash Sharma.
