Jerry on Top to release in Indian cities

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Feb. 27: Jerry on Top, which became Anmol KC's highest-grossing movie, is set to be released across India. 

Targeting Nepali film lovers in India, the Nepali community, and Nepali-speaking audiences, the production team has announced that the film will be released simultaneously in various Indian cities starting this Friday.

The film will have a box office release in Darjeeling, Sikkim, Dehradun, Delhi, Kalimpong, Siliguri, and Kolkata, along with other places where there is a significant Nepali-speaking population. 

On the eve of its release, a premiere show has been organised in Gangtok on February 26. Actors Anmol KC and Bhuwan KC, actress Jassita Gurung, along with the film’s cast and crew, will attend the premiere.

Based on the adventurous story of climbing Mount Everest, ‘Jerry on Top’ centres on love, relationships, and the emotional journey of the younger generation. The film is directed by Suyog Gurung.

The film, which was released simultaneously in Nepal and more than a dozen other countries on October 17, collected over Rs. 170 million worldwide. 

Alongside Anmol, the film also stars Aanchal Sharma, Jassita Gurung, Kedar Ghimire, Bhuwan KC, and Usha Khadgi in lead roles.
