US special envoy calls on Foreign Minister Khanal

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 1: Special Envoy of the US to South and Central Asia, Sergio Gor, paid a courtesy call on Minister for Foreign Affairs, Shisir Khanal, at the ministry today.
During the call on, discussions were held on further
strengthening Nepal-US relations, with an emphasis on promoting investment and
trade, stated the Foreign Ministry in its social site.
The two held constructive and productive discussions
on deepening bilateral cooperation across several promising domains, with
particular emphasis on expanding trade and advancing initiatives under the
Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), stated the US embassy in its social
site.
