Landslide buries dozer operator in Myagdi
Myagdi, May 1: A landslide occurred in the district buried a dozer operator on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as 51-year-old Padam Karki of Raghuganga Rural Municipality-2, who was operating the dozer at the time of the incident at Raghuganga-1.
According to police, the vehicle was being used for a road construction work as the dry landslide struck, burying both the heavy equipment and the driver.
Police inspector Sagar Timilsina confirmed that Karki died on the spot. His body was retrieved after around four hours with the help of police and local residents. The body has been sent to Provincial Hospital, Beni for post-mortem examination. (RSS)
