By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Feb 25: Rupa Maharjan, the candidate of Nepali Communist Party (NCP) for Kathmandu constituency 10 for the election to the House of Representatives (HoR), has expressed commitment to develop Kirtipur as an IT hub and generate employment.
In her commitment, she has also mentioned about
expansion of the Kirtipur-Makawanpur road, upgrading public schools and
colleges, advancing Hattiban-Champadevi-Chandragiri trekking route and run
public buses by developing road Chandragiri-Kirtipur-Dhakshinkali road.
She has also made commitment to give a concrete
shape to ethnic museum at Champadevi.
NCP candidate Maharjan has also pledged to arrange
for adequate and proper drinking water for all the residents in the
constituency while paying due attention to conservation of the water base area.
She has made it a point that she would take initiative for federal budget to develop her constituency as a model area with regard to economic, social and cultural development.
