Conference of Orthopaedic doctors begins today

Jhapa, Feb 12: The ORTHOCON-2026, a mega gathering event of orthopaedic doctors, is beginning today in Jhapa. 

More than 500 orthopaedic doctors from Nepal, India, Bhutan, Bangladesh and other countries are scheduled to attend the conference, the Nepal Orthopaedic Association shared. 

At a news conference on Wednesday, Chairman of Organizing Committee Dr Laxmi Mainali stated that more than 500 orthopaedic surgeons that includes 100 from abroad have confirmed their participation. 

The conference is being held under the theme 'Education, Innovation and Collaboration in Orthopaedics'.

The conference would witness intensive discussions and deliberations as well as key achievements in the orthopaedic sector. 

Likewise, three equipment and some innovations carried out by Nepali orthopaedic surgeons will be kept for demonstration at the conference. (RSS)
