Scotland claims first victory in the super six

Kirtipur (Kathmandu), Jan 28: In a thrilling encounter during the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Global Qualifier, Scotland triumphed over Ireland. This match marked Scotland's inaugural win in the Super Six stage, played today at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground. 

Scotland dominated the game, defeating Ireland by 39 runs. After losing the toss and being asked to field first, Scotland posted a total of 160 runs, losing five wickets. 

Sarah Bryce led the charge with a solid 47 runs, while Kathryn Bryce added 30 runs from 23 balls. In reply, Ireland fell short, scoring 121 runs and losing all their wickets in just 19.2 overs. Scotland's Kathryn Bryce was instrumental in the bowling department, taking four crucial wickets to secure the win. (RSS)
