NA session: Intangible Cultural Heritage (Conservation) Bill tabled in Committee

Kathmandu, Jan 28: Today's meeting of the National Assembly (NA) unanimously passed the proposal to send the 'Intangible Cultural Heritage (Conservation) Bill, 2081' to the Legislative Management Committee for clause-wise discussions.

NA Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal, had proposed in the meeting that the bill be sent to the Legislative Management Committee for detailed discussion.

In the meeting, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Anil Kumar Sinha proposed that the bill be sent to the Legislative Management Committee for clause-by-clause discussion.

Similarly, Kamala Panta, Chairperson of the Development, Economic Affairs and Good Governance Committee, presented the 'Annual Report of the Development, Economic Affairs and Good Governance Committee for the Fiscal Year 2081/82' to the NA session.

Chairperson of the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee, Maya Prasad Sharma, presented in today's the NA meeting the 'Annual Report of the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee for the Fiscal Year 2081/82'.

The next meeting of the National Assembly will be held at 1:15pm on Monday, February 2. (RSS)
