Actor Baral comes up with song ‘Bidhiko Shasan’

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Jan. 27: Actor Bijay Baral has made his singing debut through the song ‘Bidhiko Shasan’. 

Written by Shaurabh Karki and composed by Prashant Shiwakoti, the song portrays the country’s contemporary political situation.

The song draws its essence from the Gen Z movement of September 8 and 9, along with the issues it raised.

The song conveys the message that national development and prosperity depend on the rule of law, rather than the whims and arbitrary actions of individuals.

Speaking about his first experience of singing, Baral said, “This is the first song I have sung. I am not a singer, but my friends encouraged me, saying that my voice suits this subject and that I should sing. Embracing their trust, I decided to give it a try.”

Prepared under the concept of Manish Raut, the video features real images and footage from various political movements in Nepal. The visuals have been powerfully presented.

Likewise, Baral has recently been signed for blockbuster director Saroj Paudel’s upcoming film ‘Sindure Jatra’. 

Actress Anjana Baraili has been finalised opposite Bijay. This marks the second collaboration between the two artists and director Paudel. Previously, they worked together in ‘Purna Bahadurko Sarangi’, which became the highest-grossing film in the history of Nepali cinema.
