Two members of the Lumbini Provincial Assembly resigns

By Santosh Dahit, Dang, Jan 19: Two members of the Lumbini Provincial Assembly have resigned from their posts to contest in the House of Representatives (HoR) election that is being held on March 5.

Dhan Bahadur Maski was previously elected from the Dang constituency-2, and Dharma Bahadur Chaudhary was previously elected from Bardiya constituency-2 from Nagarik Unmukti Party, have resigned from the post. 

Dhan Bahadur Maski resigned to contest from Constituency-3 of Dang on behalf of the CPN-Maoist, and Dharma Bahadur Chaudhary, from Bardiya Constituency-2 from the Ujyalo Nepal Party (UNP), for a member of the HoR in the upcoming election. Chaudhary has been elected general secretary of UNP.

Both are former provincial ministers.
