Joshi to run for World Marathon Challenge

Dallas (USA), Jan 7:   US based Nepali-origin Bal Joshi is going to take part in ‘World Marathon Challenge’ that is a logistical and physical challenge to run seven marathons on seven continents in seven days. 

It will start on 31 January 2026 from Antartica and will be finished on 6 February in Miami, USA.  

Joshi is going take part in the World Marathon Challenge wearing daura suruwal to show where he comes from. 

There will be more than 54 runner from more than 30 countries. 

Joshi has been taking part in such marathon for social work and human welfare since 2021

He has provided more than 2 lakh USD for education, health, sport and food for senior citizens of Nepal,America, Africa through one-step foundation from the amount received from the took participated in more than 2 dozens marathon  since last four years. 

41 years old Joshi was born in Surkhet and has been in USA now. 

 He is a banker and is resident of Dalls-Fort Worth metroplex city.

He will run carrying the flags of USA and Nepal.
