By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec 27: Discussions between Prime Minister Sushila Karki and top leaders of the three major political parties regarding the upcoming House of Representatives elections have commenced.
Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli, and Nepali Communist Party (NCP) Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal' Prachanda' are attending the meeting, which is taking place at the Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar, according to the Communication Minister Jagadish Kharel, also Spokesperson of the government.
The government has been continuously negotiating and engaging with political parties to facilitate the political situation that arose after the Genji Movement and to hold the upcoming elections on the scheduled date.
On Friday, Minister Kharel held separate meetings with the top leaders of major political parties upon reaching their residences.
