Two-year-old girl dies after being hit by tractor

By Janarjan Khatri, Sarlahi,  Dec 27: A two-year-old girl died after being hit by a tractor in Haripurwa, Sarlahi, on Saturday afternoon.

Two-year-old Sohani Sah Fakir, daughter of local Afroz Sah Fakir, died when she was hit by a tractor(Madhesh Province 03-001  8704) near Haripurwa Pokhari in Haripurwa Municipality-6.

"The girl died when she was hit by a tractor loaded with bricks while crossing the road," said Saroj Rai, Information Officer and DSP of the District Police Office, Sarlahi.

Police said the girl was declared dead by doctors when she was taken to the Provincial Hospital in Malangwa. 

The tractor and its driver involved in the accident are under police control.
