Newly appointed Speaker Yadav vows impartial role

Mahendranagar (Dhanusha), Dec 22: Newly appointed Speaker of Madhes Province Assembly, Ram Ashish Yadav, has assumed office today.

Assuming the office at Janakpurdham-based Province Assembly Office, Yadav shared he would play an impartial role as a common guardian of all PA members. Speaker Yadav said he would give priority to dialogue and collaboration among all political parties, adding, "Difference is natural but collaboration is essential."

Yadav also vowed coordinating with all parties for the welfare of the province and address to issues like inclusion, good governance, access to health and education, employment creation and challenges of border areas. 

Pointing out the need of effective monitoring over the executive, the newly appointed Speaker expressed the view that the PA should be strong in the issue of budget implementation, transparency on public expenditure and improvement in quality of service delivery. He expressed commitment to running the province assembly in an effective, accountable and dignified manner that serves democratic norms and values. 

Yadav also urged the PA members to play constructive roles in the Assembly. (RSS)
