The Discourse is focused on the economic recovery and resilience of the country.
Lack of construction material delaying mega projects: Minister Ghising

Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport,
Kul Man Ghising, has said that unavailability of construction material is causing
the delay in the building of mega infrastructure project.
The Minister said so while addressing the national
level Gorkhapatra Discourse on economic recovery and resilience held today to
mark the 60th Anniversary of The Rising Nepal and 125 years of
publication of the Gorkhapatra daily.
The Minister elaborated that the delay in project construction
has chain effects as the capital mobilization gets stalled.

Govt will ensure security of private sector: Minister Sinha
Anil Kumar Sinha, Minister of Industry, Commerce, and
Supply, has stated that the current government will remain in place only until
the election is complete.
He also emphasized that the government’s priorities
are good governance, transparency, and zero tolerance for corruption.
Addressing the Gorkhapatra discourse as the keynote
speaker of the panel discussion session on Private Sector Confidence as well as
the Smart Infrastructure: Development and Management, the minister urged all
stakeholders to work together and assured that the government will ensure the
security of the private sector.

Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav has said that government needs to work for betterment of the nation and join hands with the private sector.
He said, "It is necessary that the government works for betterment of nation and walks shoulder to shoulder with the private sector."
He said so while addressing the Gorkhapatra Corporation (GC) Gorkhapatra Discourse today on the occasion of the 60th Anniversary of The Rising Nepal and 125 years of the publication of the Gorkhapatra daily.
It is positive sign that the Gorkhapatra , the foundation of the journalism, is organizing such an important discourse, he said.
The Vice President expected that the discourse will dwell on the overall situation of financial sector, challenges and strengths, government efforts, and at end reaching into the solid conclusion for moving forward.
He said, “Gorkhapatra is the epitome of truth, provides education, just and fair news and entrainment. It helps in the formation of inclusive society. It shows the direction to important issues.”
It is praiseworthy that the Gorkhapatra Sansthan is standing as the heritage for the future generation.

General Manager of the Gorkhapatra Corporation, Lal Bahadur Airi, has welcomed the guests including Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav who has graced the event as the chief guest.
In his welcome speech, GM Airi viewed that the discourse was first of its kind organised by the GC.
