Kathmandu, Dec 11: Biratnagar Kings has won the toss and elected to bowl first against Lumbini Lions in the second qualifier match of the ongoing second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) taking place at the TU Cricket Stadium in local Kirtipur.
Biratnagar's skipper Sandeep Lamichhane won the toss and chose to bowl first. Accordingly, Lumbini Lions will bat first. Biratnagar was defeated by Sudurpaschim in the first qualifier.
Lumbini defeated Kathmandu Gorkhas in the eliminator, leading these two teams to meet in the second qualifier.
In the league stage, Lumbini defeated Biratnagar by five wickets. The winning team of today's match will reach the final of the tournament.
In the first qualifier match held earlier, Sudurpaschim defeated Biratnagar to secure their place in the final. Sudurpaschim is the runner-up of the first edition of the NPL.(RSS)
