Kathmandu, Dec 7: Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari has expressed the confidence that the structures in the Singha Durbar complex, damaged during the protest on September 9, will be rebuilt soon.
After inspecting the structures in the Singha Durbar complex, damaged during the Gen-Z protests, former President Bhandari said she felt sorry seeing the structures destroyed and expressed her belief that the Government of Nepal would rebuild them quickly.
Former President Bhandari also wished that such incidents would not occur in the future. She had inspected the damaged offices, including the former Prime Minister and Council of Ministers' offices.
Former President Bhandari was welcomed by Minister for Communication and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel, who facilitated the office visit. After the inspection, former President Bhandari met with Prime Minister Sushila Karki. (RSS)
