Kathmandu, Nov 10: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has said the Pashupati Area Development Trust should not be made a centre for political recruitment.
Addressing a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Trust today, PM Karki opined that political cadres should not be appointed here because only religious persons are well suited in the religious institutes.
She shared, "Religious organisations have their own rules and norms as well as traditional beliefs and customs. They reflect our native culture and we should protect these norms and values. Pashupatinath is a place where there is devotion of Hindus across the world. So it is wrong to appoint political cadres in such organisation." (RSS)
