'K-Food' Programme wraps up

blog

Kathmandu, Nov 9: The K-Food Programme organized at the initiatives of students who had previously gained work experience in Korea and returned to Nepal concluded today. The event saw the enthusiastic participation of students receiving scholarships from the Korean government and who returned to Nepal.

Hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, the event allowed participants to reminisce about their time in Korea through its culinary delights.

During the event, Ambassador Thayang Park of the Republic of Korea to Nepal remarked that this significant opportunity to share Korean cuisine and cherished memories with family and friends would enhance the relationship between the two nations at the people-to- people level.

He emphasized that applying the knowledge and skills acquired in Korea in Nepal would benefit not only the individuals involved but also contribute to the nation's overall prosperity. The Korean government has consistently supported the establishment of a sustainable startup ecosystem for the youth in Nepal, aligning with its objective of fostering employment and bolstering the country's economy.

The 'K-Food' programme was part of the K-Food entrepreneurship training that took place in Kathmandu last August. (RSS)
